This course provides an overview of the processes and practices surrounding the regulation of cabin safety. Based on the UK Civil Aviation Authority's (UK CAA's) own training programme for its Cabin Safety Inspectors and delivered by senior inspectors for Cabin Safety from the UK CAA . This course is designed to provide the foundation of knowledge required to train or oversee cabin safety.


This course is suitable for you if you are responsible for training or oversight of cabin safety, either within a regulatory, or an operational environment.

  • European Cabin Safety Legislation, including European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Implementing Rules and UK Guidance Material, relating to Cabin Crew, Procedures and Training
  • Role of the Cabin Safety Inspector 
  • Inspections including: AOC Application and Variation, Annual Audits, Flight, Aircraft Survey, Preflight Briefings, Ramp, Operational Manuals (SEP and Training), Safety Cards, Training Sessions and Training Records
  • Observation of Practical Examples (DVD) of Preflight Briefings, Theoretical and Practical Training Sessions and Cabin Announcements
